About NuView Academy

NuView Academy provides a free, appropriate public education (FAPE) in the least restrictive environment (LRE) for students whose primary needs are related to emotional and behavioral challenges, including diagnoses such as Depressive Disorders, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Anxiety Disorders, Conduct Disorders, and Thought Disorders.

The program operates through a collaborative partnership between the Educational Services Commission of New Jersey (ESCNJ) and Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care (RUBHC). ESCNJ is responsible for all educational programming and the coordination of referral and placement procedures. Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care provides the psychiatric and therapeutic services that support students in meeting individualized goals and achieving overall success.

NuView Academy operates Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., for 48 weeks per year.
