Electronic Devices Policy
To maintain a focused, safe, and structured learning environment, personal electronic devices are not permitted for student use during the school day. This includes, but is not limited to, cell phones, smartphones, smartwatches, personal music devices, tablets, laptops, cameras, and handheld gaming devices.
All personal technology brought to school is collected by classroom staff upon arrival, securely stored in the main office during the school day, and returned to students at dismissal.
NuView Academy provides all necessary instructional technology. Each student is issued a school-provided Chromebook and uses the Google Platform to support academic access, instruction, and digital learning while at school.
In the event of an emergency, parents/guardians may contact the school office to communicate with their child. If an emergency occurs during the school day, families will be contacted directly by school staff. School transportation providers are also equipped to communicate with the school should an issue arise during transport.
Any personal electronic device found in a student’s possession during the school day will be secured and returned to the student’s parent or guardian.
